I have not seen or heard of many Lotus Elise cars in the US but I know there are some. How long do they last? Is it a smooth ride, and are they worth the money, although they seem cheap for a sporty car like that. I am looking to get a used one so how does $35k sound for a 2005 convertible one with 10k miles on it?
They have Toyota engines in them(IIRC) so they should be pretty reliable. They are definately NOT smooth cars. They are meant to be weekend track cars NOT daily drivers. If you want a comfortable but quick car for $35K look at a 05 or so Cadillac XLR or a used Corvette.

Hi, I’m looking for a Lotus S2 gearstick knob (it’s a pre-toyota engine if that makes any difference) but it needs to have a lotus logo on it. It’s for a bday present.
I’ve found lots of plain ones, but the one with the logo remains illusive. I know one exists but I can’t seem to find it. Can you find it for me? Thank you!!!!
